RD Mathis, born November 29, 1916 in Cameron, Texas, passed away May 27, 2007 at his residence in Houston, Texas at the age of 90 years. His lioving family includes wife of 71 years, Maude MAthis; children, Johnny Mathis and wife Georfia, Peggy Sanders and husband Wayne, Alice Seddon and husband Richard, Linda Persky; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
