Mr. Raymond Michael "Mike" Kirkland's Obituary
Raymond Michael Kirkland, 60 of Dayton, TX went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2012 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, Co with his loving family by his side Mike was born on August 2, 1951 in Pasadena, TX, son of John and Christine Kirkland. Mike attended Galena Park High School and graduated in 1969. He worked for Exxon Mobile for 32 years before retiring. He lived in Baytown, TX for 34 years and was a member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church. He moved to Dayton, TX in August 2011. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He touched many lives with his love for Christ, his selfless acts and his warm and humorous personality. He loved fishing, collecting guns and spending time with his family. Mike was preceded in death by his Father, John Beverly Kirkland and Father-in-law, Lindell Earl Neece. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Theresa Ann Kirkland; Mother, Lola Christine Kirkland of Baytown, TX; Mother-in-law, Jimmie Marie Neece of Centerville, TX; Brother, John Talmadge Kirkland of Pangburn, AR; Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law, Linda and Al Singleton of Centerville, TX; Son and Daughter-in-law, Chris and Stephanie Kirkland of Crosby, TX; Daughter and Son-in-law, Charlene and David Crawford of Dayton, TX; Grandchildren, Matthew King, Brooke Cornwell, Trenton Kirkland, Lexi Trousdale, Courtland Crawford, Abby Trousdale, Drake Kirkland and Trevor Crawford; Great Grandchildren, Tyler King and Ryland King, along with several nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Cedar Bayou Baptist Church 3116 N. Alexander Dr., Baytown,TX 77520. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10 A.M. Following the service, interment will be in San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Freeway, Houston,TX 77015
