Raymond Henk Jr.'s Obituary
The life of Raymond Henk Jr. started on October 7, 1951. He was born to Minnie Ola Henk and Raymond Henk Sr. He had 7 brothers, who he loved to have lively debates about tooth and hair loss with; Eddie, Jim, Butch, Kenneth, TJ, Johnny Earl, and Tommy. Ray always excelled in just about anything he put his mind to. He graduated high school at 16. At the age of 18 he honorably served his country in the Army with his childhood friend, Royce Lambeth. When he was 24 he married the love of his life, Lee Henk. Together they had 3 girls; Lori, 37, Misty Lynn, 33, & Mary Lynda, 32. They were blessed with 7 wonderful grandchildren, who he loved to garden with; Brianna, 19, Kaitlyn, 16, Tiger, 14, Thomas, 13, Madalynn, 7, Jade, 6, & Grant, 6 months. He was friends with all, and if anybody needed help he would be there at a moments notice. At 8:41 AM on August 25, 2014 this loving and giving man was called home to be with his family who has preceded him in Heaven. Father (Ray), Mother (Minnie), Brothers (Ed, Butch, & TJ), Numerous Aunts, Uncles, & Friends.
The viewing and memorial services will be held at San Jacinto Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 and 11am on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Final resting place is the VA Cemetery. Burial services will be held at 1:15pm on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
