Ray Anthony Yanez, was the kind of friend and family member that every person would feel fortunate to have known. Ray was industrious, kind, hospitable, intelligent, and witty. Ray enjoyed grilling, music, tailgating, an occasional ice cold beer and spending time with his family and friends. Ray was a devoted Astros and Texans fan.
Born in Bay City, Texas, Ray was proud to be a son of Ramon and Elodia Yanez. Ray was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ray's deep love for his family was undeniable, as evidenced by his words and deeds. Ray is survived by his wife of 21 years, Veronica A. Yanez; his children, Anthony R. Yanez and his wife Krystina, and Elias R. Yanez; his granddaughter, Liv Ryan Yanez; his brothers, Roy O. Yanez and Raymond H. Yanez; his brother-in-law, Ricardo P. Mottu; his sister-in-law, Ophelia R. Delgadillo and her husband Joe; his father-in-law, Richard P. Mottu; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
The time spent with Ray will be eternally cherished by his friends and family.
