Raul (Lito) Chavez, Sr
Born on June 9, 1925 in Amapala Honduras and called into the presence of our Lord on July 3, 2020
Lito came to United States in 1944 when we was 19. By trade Lito was a Mariner (worked on ships) which allowed him to travel and see many parts of the world. Lito meet Rebecca (Becky/Lita) Gonzales in Port Arthur, Texas and they were married in 1952, married for 68 years. They lived in both Port Arthur, Texas and New York City, New York, but Port Arthur became their permanent residence.
Lito and Lita had two children. While living in New York they had Rebecca (Boobie) and 4 years later Raul, Jr (Bobo/Bo) was born in Port Arthur.
Lito is preceded in death by his wife, Lita; his daughter Boobie; mother Nana and a brother and sister. He is survived by his Son and daughter-in-law, Bo & Leti; 2 grandchildren and their spouses, Crystal & Brian Horn and Beau David & Krysta Chavez; and 7 great grandchildren, Kiersten, Kaitlyn, Kolben, Kamdem, Caden, Kinsley and Kase..
