It was one month ago today that we spoke our last words to each other. I miss you more and more every day. Your smile, and laugh. You blessed me in so many ways just by being my father. And to know that you loved me meant more to me than you know. I know we talked about so many things your last days, but I will always be thankful that we had that time to say I love you, and to say goodbye. I know that we will see each other again. I'm sorry I wasn't around more often. I'm even sorrier you didn't get to spend time with your great grandchildren. But I will speak of you often to them and I will remember you as I last saw you, as I always saw you... with a great big boyish grin and a twinkle in your eyes. I'll miss you immensely and my only consolation is that you're at peace, that you're well, and that now you can see me and my family all the time. I love you and miss you more than you know. Be well.
