Priscilla Tatum's Obituary
Lola Priscilla Tatum passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 46 in Dayton, Texas.
Priscilla was born on March 19, 1979, in Houston, Texas. She loved her family deeply and especially cherished being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved and brought creativity and personality to everything she did.
Priscilla owned and operated a local boutique where she created custom graphic shirts and wreaths. She had a talent for design and enjoyed making unique items that reflected her creativity. Priscilla loved God and found comfort in her faith. She also loved all things feminine and beautiful, embracing the fun and creativity of things that were bright, stylish, and uniquely her. She also loved her dog, Lola, who was a constant companion and brought her comfort and joy.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edmund Raymond Swick Sr.; grandmother, Ola Bell Swick; father, Dwight Lane Tatum Sr.; mother, Lola Lynn Swick Tatum; brother, Dwayne Dale Tatum; and sister, Sandy Lynn Tatum Taylor.
She is survived by her brother, Dwight Lane Tatum Jr. and his wife, Kimberly Walker Tatum of Mont Belvieu, Texas; nephew Trevor Kai Tatum and his wife, Rachel Kaitlynn Tatum of Dayton, Texas; nephew Bryce Lane Tatum of Mont Belvieu, Texas; niece Emily Bree Anne Tatum of Mont Belvieu, Texas; nephew Dominic Lane Tatum, his fiancée, Halley Taber, and grand-niece Kacelyn Tatum of New Caney, Texas; niece Dawnyette Lynn Tatum of New Caney, Texas; and nephew Dylan Dwayne Tatum of Dayton, Texas.
Priscilla is also survived by a circle of family she loved dearly and held close to her heart, including Aunt Sharon “Sissy” Wooten of Dayton, Texas; cousins Barbara, Anne Lichota, and James Lichota of Dayton, Texas; niece Dalana Lichota of Dayton, Texas; and nephews and niece Trevon Trahan, Tavius Lichota, and Astella White of Dayton, Texas, who were a constant source of love, friendship, and support in her life.
Those who knew Priscilla will remember her for her creativity, her personality, and the love she had for her family.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at San Jacinto Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at San Jacinto Funeral Home and Memorial Park, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM.
