Pamela Ann Guidry's Obituary
Pamela Ann Guidry, age 73, of La Porte, Texas, passed away peacefully on
December 4, 2025, in Webster, Texas.
She was born on September 29, 1952, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Dean and Phyllis
McMann. On July 14, 1973, Pamela married the love of her life, Michael J.
Guidry, in Port Neches, Texas. Together they built a life centered on faith, family,
and service.
Pamela dedicated over 40 years of her career as a registered nurse, retiring from
HCA Clearlake Hospital. Her compassion and commitment to caring for others
touched countless lives. Beyond her professional work, she was deeply involved in
her church community, serving faithfully with the Woman’s Missionary Union of
the Union Baptist Association (WMU of UBA) and Women on Mission (WOM).
She found joy in sewing, crafts, and fellowship with her church groups, but her
greatest happiness came from spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Michael James Guidry; daughters Deana
Becker and her husband Eric; son Alton Guidry and his wife Rachel; sister Patty
Stafford and her husband Jim; brothers Dean McMann and his wife Ronda, and
James McMann; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Phyllis McMann.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to South Main Baptist
Church in Pamela’s memory.
Pamela will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to family, and
her gentle spirit that uplifted all who knew her
