Mr. Pablo H. Gutierrez's Obituary
Pablo H. Gutierrez was born on June 6th, 1941 in Del Rio Texas, where he lived with his parents Miguel Gutierrez and Eracilia Holgin. He was the 7th of 7 children. He attended and graduated San Felipe High School and later when on to take courses at San Jacinto College.
After graduation he began a serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. as CPT E4, and then after his service to our country he began working with Baker Hughes, which he was able to complete 38 years with before retiring.
Pablo married the love of his life, Feliz Aguero, on February 26, 1962 and they were happily married for 53 years and 27 days before they were separated by God’s calling Pablo to serve as an angel in heaven, for you see Pablo was known to be a devote catholic.
Pablo served in the United States Marine Corps. from June of 1960 until June of 1964 which placed in at service during The Cuban Missile Crisis. He attained the rank of Cpt. E4 and received the follow honors: Good conduct medal, Browning Automatic Rifle Marksman Badge and Rifle Marksman Badge.
While some of Pablo’s hobbies included Painting and gardening…the most important part of his life was his family. He will also be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather…
Pablo is survived by his wife Feliz Gutierrez, son and daughter in law Paul and Frances Gutierrez, Daughter and son in law Sandra and David Billingsley, Granddaughter and Grandson in law Krystal and Joel Longoria, Grandson Elias M. Silva IV, Grandson Paul A. Silva, Grand Daughter Angel M. Werner, Grandson Jason H. Brown, Grandson Alex J. Kosmatka, and Great-Grandson Joel M. Longoria.
Funeral services will be held at San Jacinto Funeral Home beginning with a visitation on Monday March 30th 2015 from 5pm to 7pm, a Funeral Service Tuesday March 31, 2015 beginning at 11:30 am, followed by procession to Houston National cemetery for burial.
