Otto M. Zoch was born May 20, 1926 in Serbin, TX he went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ September 14, 2015 in Houston, TX. Otto honorably served his country overseas during the Korean war. At home, he built his career as a contractor. A faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church since the 1940's he served as elder, choir member and volunteer in various ministries especially barbecuing for the annual church picnics. Otto loved to sing! He was a member for many years of The Houston Lutheran Chorale, carrying the Gospel in song to the nations, including tours to Carnegie Hall and Europe. Celebrating life and family, Otto never missed an opportunity to attend a birthday, wedding, reunion, heritage festival, or funeral. He showed up. Making memories was also a high value, he always had a video camera at any and every event. He filled many of his days working outdoors. Otto loved planting flowers, caring for the lawn, painting and making repairs. Enjoying working with his hands, he never wasted a daylight hour. Above all, Otto loved the Lord and was always mindful to thank Him and glorify Him in all things.
