Oralia Ramirez, 78, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on December 14, 1947, in Morelos, Coahuila, Mexico, to Maria Luisa and Esteban Muñoz.
On January 1, 1964, Oralia married the love of her life, Salvador Ramirez, in their hometown of Morelos. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in devotion, hard work, and deep family bonds. For 30 years, Oralia dedicated herself to being a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home where her family always felt cared for and loved.
Oralia found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She nurtured her plants with patience and pride, delighted in playing lotería with family and friends, and shared her love through her cooking—meals that brought everyone together. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who were her greatest source of happiness.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Salvador Ramirez; her daughters, Norma Ramirez Tenorio, Julieta Ramirez Lozano, Liliana Gonzales, and Anna Maria Ramirez; her sons, Salvador Ramirez Jr. and Eduardo Ramirez; as well as 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her legacy of love, strength, and family devotion will continue to live on through each of them.
Oralia will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will remain a blessing and a guiding light for her family and friends.
