Olga B. Capetillo's Obituary
Olga B Capetillo, 80 years of age, passed away on February 22, 2019. She was born on June 24, 1938 in Hebbronville, Texas to Arturo Benavides and Alicia Saliz Benavides. She lived in Hebbronville, Texas, Corpus Christi, Texas, and San Jose California. Olga attended Miller High School and Delmar College where she earned a Medical degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and Elim Church. Olga owned her own business where she retired in 1978 after 10 years as an event coordinator.
Olga’s most special events of her life was her wedding day and the birth of her children and grandchildren. Her favorite songs were “Un Dia Ala Ves” and “Dos Grotas de Oqua.” She also collected figurines of elephants and angels and she enjoyed creating decorations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sanjana Gonzalez, and great-grandson, Joshua Olivares, Jr.
Olga leaves behind her husband, Pablo Capetillo; daughters, Denise Cruz and Tricia Capetillo; granddaughters, Alexus Capetillo, and Stephanie Gomez; grandsons, Paul Gomez, and Ruben Salazar; sisters, Alicia Vela, Emma Rodriguez, and Diana Benavides; brothers Arturo and Rene Benavides; and four great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at VIP Party Hall at 1703 Dallas Street, South Houston, TX 77587, on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, with Mariachi's to play at 7:00 PM.
