Norma Wolfford's Obituary
Norma Jean Wolfford of Houston, Tx was born April 26th 1938 passed away Saturday September 12th, 2020 after a short illness. Born in Aransas Pass, Texas. She raised her family and lived in Houston, Tx.
Norma was a woman that lived life to the fullest. She loved her family with a passion and lead them on adventures for 82 years.
Norma was a Wife, Mother, homemaker and business partner to her husband and excelled at all. Raising her family was a role she took pride in. She met her husband Dennis Wolfford Sr. (deceased) in Aransas Pass when she was 15 and he was17 yrs old. 2 months later they were married and a new adventure started for her and a short 11 months later they started their family.
Norma and Dennis were extremely proud of their family that began with Dennis Lee Jr. (deceased), Sherry Jean Ross (deceased) Kathy Wolfford Barrera, Kimberly Wolfford and Jenny McCollum Robin. Norma is now with Dennis Sr., Dennis Jr. and Sherry Jean in Heaven whom she has dearly missed.
Norma's parents are Mother Lizzie Muriel Hudson (deceased) and Frank Hudson (deceased). Brother Bobbie Frank Hudson (deceased) and sisters Annie Margarette Clapsaddle, Doris Elaine Houck (deceased), Ruby Ray Mannen and Mary Joyce Yardley. Grandchildren Melissa Windt, Dennis Wolfford 3rd, Wesley Ross, Heather Knapp, Derek Ross, Nickolas Berkshire, Matt Wolfford, Norma Long, Niki Bridgeman, Ashley Gillespie, Emily Myott and Stacy Ross. Norma leaves behind many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren along with Brother in law Freddie Mitchel, Brother in law Don Manning, Brother in law Dale Yardley along with many much loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Norma loved all and was loved by all.
Please join Our Family on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. for a Celebration of Life at Fellowship of the Nations Church at 13305 Woodforest Blvd, Houston, Texas 77015 located in Northshore. Please join us at the same location for a reception afterwards.
