Naomi R. Funk, 85, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Houston. Mrs. Funk and her late husband David were very active volunteers at the Leon Z. Grayson Community Center. Naomi is survived by her children Sheryl Funk and Dav Read Obituary
Condolences from a RAY cousin. I was just getting to know Thelma again when she passed a couple of years ago. Naomi and Thelma and other family members are together again in Heaven!
We could always count on Aunt Naomi to make our family get-togethers so much fun. She shared her love unselfishly and always prayed for us and our needs. She had a deep, abiding faith in the Lord and was faithful unto death. We know she had an amazing coronation day and reunion with her loved ones. We wish we could have made it to the funeral, but know we share in your love of our sweet Aunt Naomi. We're sorrowful in her passing, but yet filled with joy because she loves Jesus and knew He was her Savior-so we are certain she is rejoicing with Him in heaven even now! Love you, JR & Abby
