Mr. Moses Hogan's Obituary
Moses Hogan, 86 passed away on Saturday afternoon May 10, 2008 in Houston. Mr. Hogan was born in Welcome, Louisiana and was a long time resident of New Orleans until the Katrina disaster. He proudly served his country during WW II in the U.S. Navy and spent the majority of his working life with the Dominoe Sugar Refnery. He is survived by his wife Gloria Thomas-Hogan; children Jeffrey Hogan, Karen Brock and husband Joseph, Wilhemina Stroughter and husband Adrian, Almontine Smith and husband Bobby, and Ava Hogan-Chapman and husband Marlon; grandchildren Marlon, Monet, and Micah Chapman, Sheree Hogan, Delshaun and Benjamin Hogan, Andre Smith, and Jonathan and Brittany Stroughter.
Funeral services were held on Monday, May 12, 2008 in the chapel of San Jacinto Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Sloan of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
