Monica Jane Mulloy's Obituary
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Monica Jane Mulloy, a beloved wife, mother grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Monica passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, devotion and joyful adventure.
Born in Michigan City, Indiana, Monica pursued her calling in nursing and graduated from the University of Texas Nursing School in Galveston. It was there she met her beloved husband, Dr. Wayne G Mulloy, M.D., beginning a life rich in love and family.
Monica was a devoted mother to four sons and took great pride in raising them with strength and compassion. Her life was a blend of nurturing care and adventurous spirit - scuba diving, sailing, yoga, jogging, and exploring new places with her husband and loved ones.
She was an active member of the Texas Mariners Cruising Association and a devoted parishioner of St Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. Her faith guided her and her love uplifted all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Wayne Mulloy, sons Michael (wife Lynn), Jeff (wife Susan), John, daughter-in-law Carolyn, grandchildren Mason Mulloy (wife Kelly), Lauren Brown (husband Colin), Clayton Levi Mulloy, Matthew Mulloy, Katie Mulloy, Kelli Mulloy, and great-grandchildren Ella Brown and Patrick Mulloy.
Monica was preceded in death by her son Mark Mulloy and her parents Clem and Margaret Woss.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the kind and dedicated staff at The Delaney at South Shore for their care and support.
A funeral service will be held July 8, 2025, at 1:00PM at San Jacinto Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
