Modesta Adela Ramirez's Obituary
Modesta Adela Ramírez, 60, of Houston, Texas passed away November 8, 2020 in Houston, TX. She was born November 4, 1960 to Crisoforo Enrique Ramos Acevedo and Faustina Crisantos Martinez in San Miguel Tlatexi Puebla, Mexico.
She married Gilberto E. Ramírez in her hometown. In 1990, she moved to the Northshore area with her husband and 2 children. She was a Walmart associate in the Northshore area for 18 years, Advo Company for 12 years and Food Town in the Northshore area for 5 years.
Modesta enjoined knitting, cross-stitching, crocheting, gardening, visiting her grandchildren, and most of all she enjoyed cooking for others.
She gained many friends through out the years. Her close friends called her Modé, but deep down she loved it when we called her Adela and when her grandchildren called her Adelita. The name of which reminded her of her grandmother, Adelaida.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jesus Ramos Crisantos (2020) and Santiago Ramos Crisantos.
She is survived by husband, Gilberto E. Ramírez of Houston, TX; daughter, Raquel Veronica Hernández and husband Rigoberto Hernández of Channelview, TX; son, José Ramírez of Houston, TX; sisters, Gisela and husband Virgino Garcia of Mexico and Eluvina and husband Pedro Morales of Morelos, Mexico; brothers, Francisco Ramos Crisantos and wife Ana of Mexico City, Mexico; parents, Crisoforo Enrique Ramos Acevedo and Fausta Crisantos Martínez of Puebla, Mexico; and 3 grandchildren, Rigoberto, Gabriela and Ruben.
Adela was greatly loved by all and will be missed by family and friends. Our family would like to thank everyone during this time of grief.
