Mrs. Maudie Lucille Mcfarland's Obituary
Maudie McFarland went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2007 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born in Athens, Texas April 28, 1931 and moved to Jacinto City, Texas in 1948 where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a faithful member of The Pentecostal Church of Jacinto City. Preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Jessie Frentress of Athens, Texas, brother RD Frentress of Athens, Texas, sisters Flora Mae Frentress Hosch of Crosby, Texas, Maggie Bea Frentress Dingler of Malakoff, Texas, and Nadie Frentress Loden of Athens, Texas. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Robert Ray McFarland of Jacinto City, Texas, daughters, Debra Lynn McFarland Stanley of Jacinto City, Texas, Rhonda Diane McFarland Brooking of La Porte, Texas, Gloria Ann McFarland Cuenod of Houston, Texas, and Son Kevin Alan McFarland of Jacinto City, Texas, sisters Easterbelle Frentress Washington of Athens, Texas, Jessie Wilma Frentress Haygood, brother Clinton Frentress of Athens, Texas, and five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Maudie will be remembered for her love of God and family and her loving and fun personality. She was an artist, a Sunday school teacher, a wonderful home maker and will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
