Maude Mathis, 91, born January 7, 1920 in Poteet, TX passed away peacefully in her home in Houston, TX September 2, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Noma Cannon, beloved huband R.D. Mathis, son Johnny Mathis, siblings Lesley Cannon, Steve Cannon, and Lucille Gentry. Survived by her children: Peggy Sanders and husband Wayne, Alice Seddon and husband Richard, and Linda Persky. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 11 great great-grandchildren.
