Mrs. Mary Frances Wilmot's Obituary
Mary Frances Wilmot, was born in Houston, Texas, on January 3, 1950, to her parents William and Julia Parrish. Mary was the 4th of 8 children to bless her parents’ lives. Mary started her career as a teacher’s assistant at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School and retired in 2016.
Mary was a resident of Galena Park, Texas, where she lived with her husband Arthur. Mary was a member of both Our Lady of Fatima and Resurrections Catholic Churches.
Mary was a loving, caring, giving, and truly generous person. The most important events in her life were the births of her children and grandchildren…family was very important to Mary.
We would be amiss if we did not mention her love of music…especially the vocal stylings of Barry Manilow.
Mary is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Taras, parents Julia and William Parris, Sister Willow Rae Walker, and mother –in –law Lorene Denton.
She is survived by her husband: Calvin; son: Jason and wife Mirella; daughter: Rebekah; grandchildren: Magdalene, Joshua and Justin; sisters: Joann Wells, Jean Minkler, Maureen Martin, Carolyn Presswood, and Kathy Martin; and her brother Ray Parrish.
All services for Mary will take place on the grounds of San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home. At this time Mary’s family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
