Mary (Peanut) Robinson's Obituary
Mary “Peanut” Ellen Robinson, 68, of Jacinto City, TX went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2024, at Northeast Memorial Hospital, Humble, TX with family by her side. She was born in El Camp, TX on August 13, 1955. She moved to Houston, TX where she met and married Gregg Robinson on May 17, 1975.
Peanut was a Special Ed Records Clerk at Jacinto City Elementary till she retired in December 2015. With a special place in her heart for the Special Ed students, she continued with the Galena Park ISD as a sub for Special Ed classes and various other Paraprofessional Positions till this last December. Through the years, she has volunteered at many organizations in and for City of Jacinto City plus Jacinto City Elementary prior to being hired, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and many organizations that her children and grandson have been involved in.
Mary loved spending time with and supporting her family and friends. She also enjoyed bowling, playing the slot machines, watching the Astros and taking vacations especially cruising. She was loved by many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gregg Robinson; son, Charles Robinson; daughter, Faith Ballard; grandson, Gregg Robinson and his fiancée, Kristen Hebert; father, Alvin Boehnke; sister, Peggy Clay; nieces, Brandi Trujillo and husband Pete and Amanda Koliba; numerous great nieces and nephews; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and family members.
She is preceded in death in her mother, Norma Boehnke; father and mother-in-law, JD and Beulah Robinson; brother-in-law, Charles Robinson and many other family and friends.
Visitations will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5 – 8 pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. Services will be at 1 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at San Jacinto Funeral Home.
