Mrs. Mary Ann Clark's Obituary
Mary Ann Isbell Clark, 59, was born in Borger, Texas on September 14, 1958 to Carl C. Isbell and Ruby N. Isbell and went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Wallisville, Texas.
Mary was the youngest of five children, and was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School. Throughout her life Mary lived in Highlands, La Porte, Wallisville, Singapore and Panama. On February 14, 1982, Mary married her loving husband Roy L. Clark.
Mary was active in volunteer and cook-offs, including the Strawberry Festival, La Porte Rodeo, Pasadena Rodeo, and Rice Festival. She enjoyed floating the frio, RV’ing, camping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. The most important time for Mary is the time she was able to spend her kids. Mary will be remembered for being feisty, loyal, selfless, dedicated, and strong-hearted. Mary loved classic country, notably her favorite song was “Baby Blue” by George Strait.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ruby Isbell. She is survived by her husband, Roy L. Clark; daughter, Laura and husband Robert Scott; son, Troy and wife Lana Clark; daughter Jackie and husband Derick Lindsey; and her grandchildren; along with Sabryna Scott, Steven Scott, Zachary Clark, and Andrew Clark; brother, Jerry and wife Vicki Isbell; brother, David and wife Cathy Isbell; sister, Kathy and husband Robert Mercer; and sister, Janis Richey; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, with a Celebration to Life to follow at 7:00pm at the San Jacinto Funeral Home Chapel in Houston, Texas. The family requests that in lieu of ordering flowers, plants that are offered will be maintained and planted in her memory. A GoFundMe account has been set up by the family for those wishing to contribute any donations towards her funeral expenses.
