Ms. Marilyn Ann Halbert's Obituary
Ms. Marilyn Ann Halbert, 89, was born on May 6, 1927 to the late Ray and Audrey Westfall in Toledo, Iowa and passed away on September 14, 2016 in Pasadena, Texas.
Ms. Halbert taught typing at CISD, owned Halbert Fish Farm and was a member of Holy Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Halbert and son John Halbert. She is survived by her daughter Margaret; son Paul; brother Rod Westfall; sister in laws: Melvina Westfall and Ann Kindred; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with the funeral service to be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home. Ms. Halbert will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
