Marian Elsie Lyttle Banta, 81 years of age. of Channelview, TX passed away on June 10, 2024 in Humble. TX.
Marian was born on November 21, 1942 to James Lyttle and Evelyn Ahreas, in Ocala, FL.
On December 9, 1963, she married Bertram Banta in Channelview, TX and was a beloved wife and mother.
She enjoyed going on day trips and being very active with the Flukinger’s Community Center in Channelview, TX. She loved to play cards and dominos with friends and family and had a deep affection for cats. Her favorite hobby was needle point, and she loved making baby blankets as beautiful gifts for family and friends.
Marian was preceded in death by her father James Lyttle, her mother Evelyn Little, her son Harry Banta, her husband of 44 years Bertram Banta, all four of her brothers, Howard Hawkins, Lee Hawkins, Lavern Hawkins & Davy Little, her son-n-law, Jack Price and her grandson James Meshell.
She is survived by daughters Evelyn Price of Houston, TX and Marian Banta of Channelview, TX., sons Bertram & Linda Banta of Channelview, TX and Benjamin & Missy Banta of Porter, TX.
She was blessed with five children, eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.
Marian lived a beautiful life and was dearly loved. She will be greatly missed.
