Maria Yolanda Coto, de 95 años, residente de Houston, Texas, falleció

Como costurera de toda la vida, Maria entregó su corazón en cada puntada,
creando no solo prendas, sino recuerdos que vistieron a generaciones. Sus manos trabajaron incansablemente, pero fue su espíritu—dulce, generoso e inquebrantable—lo que realmente moldeó las vidas a su alrededor.
Fue miembro fiel de la iglesia Templo Emanuel Asambleas de Dios, donde su fe fue una luz guía y fuente de fortaleza. Encontraba alegría en los tesoros simples de la vida: compartir comidas, risas e historias con sus hijos y nietos, cuya presencia le brindaba una felicidad inmensa.

Maria Yolanda Coto, 95, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Cojutepeque, El Salvador, to Manuel Coto and Carmen Velasco, Maria lived a life defined by devotion, craftsmanship, and deep faith.
A gifted seamstress, Maria poured her heart into every stitch, creating not only
garments but memories that clothed generations. Her hands worked tirelessly, but it was her spirit—gentle, generous, and unwavering—that truly shaped the lives around her.
Maria was a proud member of Templo Emanuel Asambleas de Dios Church, where her faith was a guiding light and source of strength. She found joy in the simple treasures of life: sharing meals, laughter, and stories with her children and grandchildren, whose presence brought her endless happiness.
She is survived by her loving sons, Carlos Diaz and Manuel Diaz and his wife Patricia Diaz, all of Houston, Texas; her sister Rosa Coto of Houston, Texas; six
grandchildren—Geovany, Steffan, Brandon, Jacob, Sophie, and Lexie Diaz; and three
great-grandchildren—Mason, Damian, and Bella Diaz. She was preceded in death by her brothers Rogelio Coto and Roberto Coto.
Maria will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, resilience, and faith will
continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
