Margaret J. Guyer, 83, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, in Baytown, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 15, 1939, in Rainell, West Virginia, to her devoted parents, Herbert and Pauline Kraus.
In her early years, Margaret met , Sherwood Guyer, and the two were united in marriage in Hot Springs, Virginia. Margaret dedicated her working years to being a secretary, where she exhibited a strong work ethic and a caring nature, endearing herself to colleagues and friends alike.
Beyond her professional life, Margaret cherished her moments of leisure, especially the time spent at the family farm in West Virginia. There, she found peace and joy, relishing the beauty of the countryside and connecting with her roots. She had a zest for exploration, and her passion for sightseeing took her on many adventures, exploring new places and enjoying the outdoors.
Margaret valued the time spent with her family and friends. She cherished every moment shared, reveling in the company of her loved ones, and making sure that everyone felt welcome and cherished in her presence.
She is preceded in death by her husband Sherwood Guyer and brother George Kraus.
Margaret J. Guyer leaves behind her loving son Roy W. Blythe of Houston, Texas and her sister Elizabeth Sgitcovich of Houston, Texas.
