Loly E. Carter
Dec. 23, 1933 – Nov. 30, 2015
Loly Carter, 81, of Houston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in North Zulch Texas to Pearl and Van Buron Seay. A longtime resident of the North Shore area, she was also a long standing member of Uvalde Baptist Church. Loly had a full and wonderful life, married to G.C. “Shorty” Carter for 43 years until his death in 1992. Loly is preceded in death by her husband, G.C. (Shorty) Carter; her brother, JW Seay; and her parents, Pearl and Van Buron Seay. She is survived by her son, Donald R. Carter (Mary); daughter, Patsy Graham (Jeff); grandsons, Donald W. Carter (Kari), Greg Carter (Amy), Darrell Carter (Jody), and Keith McDonald; granddaughter, Mary Beth (Jeff); 29 great grandchildren; sister, Francis Hardman; sister in law, Pat Seay; Joyce Wagner (Buffard);Christine Carter and June Brown; and numerous other loving family members.
Loly had a wonderful group of very close friends with whom she shared manygreat times. They meant the world to her and are family in her heart.Lolywill always be remembered as a loving woman that always had a smile on her face and an infectious laugh.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 5pm until 8pm and funeral services will be held on December 4, 2015 at 10am at San Jacinto Funeral Home.
