Mrs. Lois Laverne Ledbetter's Obituary
Lois L. Ledbetter, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve 2012. Mrs. Ledbetter was born in Como, TX on March 25, 1930 to Roy and Dellar Harris. Lois loved the Lord, her church friends, was active in the Maxwell Center of Deer Park, and in general was a "people person". Mrs. Ledbetter was preceeded in death by her husband John W. Ledbetter, son Don W. Ledbetter, her sisters Inez, Nell, and Louise, and her brother Buck. She is survived by her children John Ledbetter and his wife Jane, Joyce Martin and her husband Ron, and Paul Ledbetter and his wife Lynn; grandchildren Julie Weaver, Jana Hall, Patrick Davis, Courtney Melcher, Paul Ledbetter, Jr, Dakota Ledbetter, Dillon Ledbetter; and numerous great-grandchildren; her sister Irene Carter; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evenng from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at San Jacinto Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held for Lois on Thursday, Decemeber 27, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Hilliard of the First Baptist Church of Anahuac officiating. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
