Mr. Lloyd Lewis Moore Jr.'s Obituary
Lloyd Lewis Moore, Jr., was born on July 24, 1942 to the late Lloyd L. Moore, Sr. and Jessie Wilson in Abilene, Texas and passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Lloyd served his country in the Navy. After the Navy, he went to work for Crown & PRSI for over 43 years before his retirement.
Lloyd was an avid deer hunter and loved going to Coushatta Casino. He loved to play softball and to play poker with his friends.
Lloyd is predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Jessie Moore; grandparents Lloyd and Irene Moore and brothers Donald Moore and John Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Vickie M. Moore, son Richard Moore and wife Kathy; daughters Laura Chadwick and husband Glenn and Tanya Novosad and Husband Will; step-sons: Lyles Burke and wife Amy, Darik Martinez and Jason Martinez, sister Sharon M. Waddell and husband Harold of San Antonio, brother William (Bill) Moore and wife Jennifer of Buffalo, Texas, sister-in-law Delia (Dee) Moore of Houston, Texas , 10 Grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday June 22, 2015 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, with the funeral service on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015. Graveside service will be at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
Lloyd will be missed by all who knew him.
