Born on November 26, 1949, in the serene hills of West Virginia to Carl and Mary Starrett, Linda's life was a tapestry woven with love, dedication, and family.
Linda's journey took a beautiful turn when she met and married the love of her life, Jearald Thompson, on November 28, 1967, in Channelview, Texas. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, a beacon of light for all who knew them.
A devoted homemaker, Linda's greatest joy was her family. She was a nurturing mother to her daughter, Kim Webb, and a doting grandmother to her three grandchildren: Jamie James, Kayla Hudnall, and Terry Webb. Her legacy of love continues through her four great-grandchildren: Brenden, Harleigh, Aiden, and Jensen, who will carry her spirit forward.
Linda is also survived by her sister, Donna Caskey, and her brother, Carl Starrett Jr., who will forever cherish the memories of their beloved sister. She was preceded in passing by her dear husband, Jearald Thompson, and her son, Terry Thompson, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in the hereafter.
Linda's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and resilience. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family will remain in our hearts forever.
