Mrs. Linda Ann Boderek's Obituary
Linda Ann Boderek, was born on April 10, 1943 to the late Frank B. Gray and Jimmie Gray in Texarkana, Texas. She was the first of three children.
Linda attended Galena Park High School. After graduation, she began her career as a legal secretary and became supervisor at Sam Houston Toll Bridge after her children were grown. She retired in 1988 after working for 7 years. After retirement, she was involved in raising her children and grandchildren. She lived in the Houston, Baytown, Beaumont and Florida areas. She married the love of her life, Anthony Boderek on June 4, 1960. She was a member of St. Joseph Church.
Linda always treated people how she wanted to be treated. She lived by the Golden Rule. She was involved in The Jacketeers for 4 years, Little League for 14 years and Beta Sigma Phi.
Linda was very proud of her wonderful marriage and the birth of her children. She was devoted, loving, energetic, empathetic and compassionate. She loved playing pinochle, bridge and dancing. Her favorite type of music was 50’s music.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Tony; sons: Sonny and wife Paula, Mark and Robby and wife Happy; brothers: David and wife Darlene and Tad and wife Debbie; sisters: Marolyn and husband Mike and Carolyn and husband Dee; grandchildren: Lindsey, Jennifer and husband Jonathan, Zachary, Gage and wife Amber and Hayli and husband Val; great-grandchildren: Jacie, Tenley, Jordan, DJ and Imani; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, with A Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
