Mrs. Leonor Dela Cueva's Obituary
Mrs. Leonor Dela Cueva, 100, passed away at her residence in Channelview on Friday January 13, 2012. Mrs. Dela Cueva was born on April 23, 1911 in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States in 1973 and later became a United States citizen. Mrs. Dela Cueva was a much beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves to mourn her loss her children; Pilar King and husband Charlie, Maria Jesus Dela Cueva, Jose Manuel Dela Cueva, Jose Luis Dela Cueva, Maria Milagros Dela Cueva, and Maria Teresa Mungle; grandchildren Kristine Campbell and husband Christian, Maria Lourdes Tenorio, Ana Whyde and husband Joe, Michelle Mungle and Melissa Mungle; her great-grandchildren Brandon Whyde, Isabell Tenorio, Hallie Whyde, Carinna Tenorio, Addison Campbell, and Madelaine Campbell; and her sisters Conception Guillen Perez and Patricia Beard. Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 4:00 P.M.at San Jacinto Funeral Home with the Vigil beginning at 6:00 PM with Deacon Javier Gomez of St. Andrew Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 827 Sheldon Rd. in Channelview with Rev. Christopher Shackelford, celebrant. The Rite of Committal will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
