Leonel’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Ruby Trevino and her husband Ricardo Reyes, Hitzul Trevino, Nataly Trevino, Maylene Trevino, Oscar Daniel Trevino, and Emily Trevino. He is also remembered by his siblings: Irasema Trevino, Americo Trevino, Sergio Trevino, Francisco Trevino, Jose Luis Trevino, and Ernesto Trevino.
Leonel, affectionately known as “Tito” and “Abuelito,” was a man who deeply loved his family. He treasured every moment spent with them, especially his grandchildren. His home was always filled with the sounds of corridos, reflecting his love for music. Leonel had a remarkable talent for crafting, often creating furniture and appliances for his family. When he wasn’t building, he could be found cheering on his favorite team, the Astros.
Above all, Leonel’s greatest love was for his wife and family. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
