I have fond memories of mr maldonado as the father of my best friend Diane. He always welcomed me to his home with an attitude of why not one more kid, what's the difference. It was a home full of love.
Tio thank you for being a big part of our lives and staying in touch and keeping connected I will miss you. We just lost our beloved dad Valentin uncle Jose Angel (chan'e) uncle Margil & uncle Rene & your your beloved sister my mom Catarina know all I can say watch out for one big bbq party all of you are reuniting once again. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers I wish all of you the best may God keep you close to him. I loved you so much I'm sorry I didn't get to see you or talk to you one last time I hope to see you again one day.

To an absolutely great father-in law, you will be greatly missed by all of us. You were always a warm and welcoming man who embraced everyone. You and Alice raised 8 great kids and I was fortunate enough to marry Sonia and get to be part of your family. I still remember Christmas day - 1990, you burst into tears that day when Sonia opened up her present from me - an engagement ring. For 23 years, you were a great friend to me and I will miss you dearly. The countless number of times we set out by the BBQ pit and seemingly solved all of life's problems while we cooked....or at least it sounded good at the time. You made some of the best Carne Guisada and your Mexican rice was the best to be found this side of the Rio Grande. I see the legacy of your warm heart throughout the family, evidence of your legacy. Thank you for everything you have done for me and I hope and pray we will meet again.......
