Lawrence “Larry” Wilmesmeier, 80, of Houston, TX, passed away, Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home.

Larry was born December 12, 1937 in Pasadena, TX to Leroy and Mary Wilmesmeier. He graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1954 and Texas A & M University, Class of 1959. Larry was a highly respected Mechanical Engineer and served as a past President of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. Being an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved his farm, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his four daughters, Laura, Julie, Karen and Carol, his wife Ethel Wilmesmeier of Houston, TX and her children Col JC Hyde and Keith Hyde, plus a total of 10 grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.
