Larry Gardner Seamans, 84, of Coldspring, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. Born in Hamburg, Arkansas, to Earl Jackson Seamans and Betty Lucille Gardner.
Larry was a hardworking and dedicated businessman, proudly owning and operating multiple grocery stores across several states. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to serving his communities left a lasting impact on countless families who relied on his stores. Beyond his career, Larry was known for his love of music. He delighted in sharing a wide variety of genres with his children, instilling in them an appreciation for melody, rhythm, and the joy that music brings to everyday life.
Family was at the center of Larry’s world. His kindness, humor, and wisdom will be remembered by all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his sons, Earl Jackson Seamans II and David Seamans, and his daughter, Barbara Mitchum. He also leaves behind extended family members who will continue to honor his memory by carrying forward his values of hard work, love, and generosity.
