Larry Gene Hall's Obituary
Larry Gene Hall passed away on May 22, 2024, in Humble, Texas. Born on May 17, 1948, in Hudson, North Carolina, Larry was the beloved son of Glenn Willard Hall and Thelma Louise Howell.
As a Sergeant in the US Army, Larry served 2 tours for his country in the Vietnam War with honor and distinction. His bravery earned him both the Purple Heart and two Bronze Star awards including the Rare Bronze Star Medal with V Device for Combat Gallantry.
After his military service, Larry cherished simple pleasures: rebuilding classic cars, fishing, taking leisurely naps, and spending quality time with his loved ones. Larry’s heart was big enough to encompass not only his family but also their beloved grand-dogs, Dixie and Sadie. These loyal dogs were his constant companions, bringing joy and comfort to his days.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Thelma and his brothers, William Vance Hall and Danny Everet Hall, all of North Carolina. Larry is survived by his only child, Kimberly Lynn Buish, and her husband, Michael Wayne Buish.
Larry’s legacy lives on through his beloved grandchildren: Ashley Lauren Buish, Jordan Michael Buish and wife Jessica Lynn Buish. His great-grandchildren, Hayden Elizabeth Buish, Alayna Lenn Allman and Claire Vaughn Allman, will always carry his memory in their hearts.
Larry Gene Hall’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his love and impact will forever resonate with those who knew him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of cherished memories and the love of his family.
