Mr. L. A. Madden's Obituary
Mr. L. A. Madden 85, passed away on March 21, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Mr. Madden was born on November 7, 1926 in Westville, TX to Elbert and Elna Madden. L.A. spent his career with Nabisco beginning in 1948 until retiring in 1990 following 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Delores in 2003 following 51 years of marriage and his dear granddaughter Lauren Wallace in 2010. Mr. Madden is survived by his children Peggy Gexler and husband Mark, Larry Madden, Pam Mardis and husband Robert and Paula Wallace and husband Bryce; grandchildren Stacy Madden and Michael Vanderslice, Leigh Madden, Scott Madden and wife Brittany, Heather Wallace, Jeanine Hermann and husband Curtis, J.D. Mardis and wife Sarah, Liz Mardis and Jay Flanagan; great-grandchildren Kailey Vanderslice, Bylie Madden, Dakota McKee, Savanna Hermann, Josh Mardis, Jackson Mardis, Jessah Mardis, Annabelle Flanagan; and his granddogs Max, Buddy, and Baby. There will be a Celebration of Life for Mr. Madden on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the North Pavillion of San Jacinto Memorial Park at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park. The family wishes to greatfully acknowledge the loving care provided to our Dad during the most difficult times of his illness. Most notably Sylvia Gamez and the Coastal Healthcare Group.
