Katie Marie Cutler's Obituary
Katie M. Cutler, aged 86, of Channelview, Texas, passed away on March 29, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on February 1, 1938, in Wakefield, Texas, Katie was the cherished daughter of Jim and Clora Millican.
Katie’s life was marked by dedication and service. She married her beloved Alvie on March 4, 1955, in Shepherd, Texas. Throughout her career, Katie made significant contributions to her community. She worked at Channelview Bank for 20 years and later served the Galena Park Independent School District (ISD) for 15 years.
A devout member of South Drive Baptist Church, Katie found solace in her faith. She had a passion for life’s simple pleasures: watching the Astros play, creating beautiful flower arrangements, and listening to uplifting gospel music. Above all, Katie treasured moments spent with her family.
Katie is survived by her loving sons:
• Ronnie Cutler and his wife Pam of Corsicana, Texas
• Gary Cutler and his wife Brenda of Channelview, Texas
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild ;

• Lindsay Hill and her husband Preston
• Hailey Cutler
Great grandchildren: Gage, Skylan, Ellie, Crew, Jonah and Noah

Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Clora Millican, and her beloved spouse, AJ Cutler. She also joins her brothers and sisters in eternal rest.
