Juanita Saldana was a rock & a pillar of the Channelview Congregation. Juanita was not a loud soul, but a gentle soul with Godly deeds that spoke loud & were an inspiration to all of us who had the honor & privilege to know her & call her our sister. Juanita's physical body is not here anymore, but her face, soul; gentleness; care & compassion that she had for everyone remains in our hearts for us to carry on her goodness & Godly example Till We See Her Again !!.( I know her crown will be covered with the Jewels of Godly life she lived here!!👑
Im very thankful to have known Juanita & my prayers are with the family & may all of us live in such a way that we can rejoice with the saved when our time here is no longer.
Mrs Saldana and her late husband were very important parts of the church family. December 2010 we took the kids out Christmas caroling to some of the older members of our congregation and took baked goods (banana bread & cookies) with us trying to instill what having a servants heart meant. Mrs Juanita Saldana was so welcoming and loved on the kids eventhough she was the last house that we went to and the kids were getting fussy (especially Brittany with her head buried in my shoulder). She had a true selfless loving heart and was always giving of herself in so many ways. She heard, "Well done they good and faithful servant, enter in" for sure when she met God at the Pearly Gates.
