Celebrating the life of Juana C. Gaytan
Juana was Born on January 27th, 1939 in Matamoros , Tamaulipas Mexico, and was called to heaven on August 12, 2015. She was the youngest of 5 children born to Melquiades and Maria Cavazos.
Juana loved her family and friends very much, next to her religion her family and friends were the most important part of her life…some of her closest friends were Sandra, Regna, Martha, Bartola, and Florinda…but here were many others too numerous to mention.
Juana spent a lot of time with activities surrounding The Centro Alegre Denver Harbor organization; she was even awarded a Star Athlete at Centro Alegre.
Juana is survived by her loving husband, Abraham Gaytan, and their 12 children:
Alejandro Vela and wife Olga, Herlinda Barajas and husband Richard, Cesar Gaytan and wife Maria, Maria Martinez and husband Guillermo, Claribel Maciel and husband Alejandro, Arturo Gaytan and wife Paulina, Nereyda Guerrero and husband Julio, Nelson Vela and wife Irma, Abraham Gaytan and wife Yvonne, Eliazar Gaytan, Margarita Rios and husband Ramon, Abraham Gaytan Jr. and wife René.
Juana is also survived by many, many grandkids and numerous great grandkids.
Funeral Services will be held on the grounds of San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
