Mr. Juan Alberto Hernandez's Obituary
Juan Alberto Hernandez was born on July 12, 1943 in Artesia Wells, Texas. His parents were Miguel Sosa and Aurora (Fernandez) Sosa. He attended Artisia, Cotulla and Crocket schools as a young man before beginning his career as a brake press operator. He retired in 2006 after working more than 20 years. After his retirement he enjoyed life, having family barbecues and playing his guitar. He loved old sixty rock and roll and country music. Juan was a self-taught talented musician and loved to sing. His most meaningful moments in life were getting married to his loving wife Elva and the birth of their children. Juan’s family were his friends, as he was a devoted and caring man to them.
Juan is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elva Hernandez whom he will be laid to rest next to.
He is survived by his sons, Juan A. Hernandez of Houston, Texas, Joe A. Hernandez of Houston, Texas, daughter, Angie Hernandez of Bryan, Texas; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Nieto; brother, Ruben Hernandez of Roscoe, Illinois, sisters Elvira Gauna and Irma Sosa, both of Cotulla, Texas; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friend, Myrian Perales.
