Dr. Joyce Lynn Sosa's Obituary
JOYCE LYNN SOSA, 54 of Humble, TX. died peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2013. She will be remembered for her love of son Anthony, her humor and devotion to her dogs. She was born in La Paz, Bolivia on July 29, 1958 to the Reverend Milton and Mrs. Ruth Ann Robinson. She graduated from Colegio Metodista Instituto Americano in La Paz, Bolivia and continued to receive a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Masters in Modern Languages and Ph. D in School Psychology; all from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Joyce worked as a School Psychologist for Cy-Fair ISD since the fall of 1999, where she contributed her professional and bilingual skills. She was licensed under the Texas State Board of Psycholigy as a specialist in School Psychology. Dr. Sosa is survived by her son Anthony Sosa, the Light of Her Life, friend Ignacio Escalante, beloved Min-Pin puppies Lena and Dino; sister Patricia Raymond and husband Jim, sister Rose Lynn Robinson, brother Henry Robinson and wife Tracee and Anthony's father Gilbert Sosa and wife Kay. Joyce was particularly proud of her nephews Bryan Robinson, Luis J. Prudencio, Daniel Prudencio, Evan Robinson, Andres Prudencio, Caleb Robinson, Josh Robinson and Judah Robinson and her niece Alessandra Mantzey. Also by her very special friend Ava Stewart. Joyce will be missed by and extended biological and missionary family. She was preceded in death by her parents Milton and Ruth Ann Robinson, brother Paul Robinson, and nephew Riley Robinson.
