Joseph A. Choate Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph A. Choate Jr., 89, of Deer Park, TX passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 15, 2021, in Deer Park, TX. He was born April 6, 1932, to the late Joseph A. Choate Sr. and the late Annie Ruth Perry in Beaumont, TX. He married Sandra Moorehead on February 27, 1970, in Jacinto City, TX.
Joseph served in the United States Army from 1952-1954 as a CPL Rad Operator. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee with Sunbeam Bread and Flowers Baking Co. for 37 years and Wells Fargo for 4 years. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1721 and Cajun French Music Association. During his spare time, Joseph would enjoy wood working.
Joseph will be missed by those who knew him best. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 51 years Sandra Choate of Deer Park, TX; his daughters: Elizabeth Ann Valenzon of Webster, TX, and Johanna Lynn Leverentz of Houston, TX; his sons: Jimmy Ray Warren of Santa Fe, TX, Russell Allen Warren of Jonesboro, LA, and Bobby Richmond Choate of Santa Fe, TX; sisters: Bobbie Monk of Spring Branch, TX and Violet Serres of Hockley, TX; 7 Grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
