Johnnie Vee Hoech's Obituary
Johnnie Vee Hoech, 93, of Katy, Texas passed away peacefully on October 14, 2021, in Katy, Texas. She was born on September 15, 1928, to Allen and Minnie Stark in Yoakum, Texas. She married Charles R. Hoech on March 17, 1945, in Houston, Texas.
She worked in her early years for American General Life Insurance, after raising her children she worked for Life Insurance of the Southwest and retired from the insurance department at Brown & Root Inc. She enjoyed spending time gardening, cooking and entertaining friends and family with lunches and dinners and giving back to her community and church through her volunteer efforts.
Johnnie is survived by her daughter Linda Winnie and her husband John, Dickinson, TX; daughters-in-law Julie Hoech, Cypress, TX and Lisa Hoech, Houston, TX; sons Steve Hoech and Wife Carla, Kerrville, TX, and Robert Hoech and his wife Becky, Clear Lake, TX; brothers Bob Stark and wife Shirley, Rockport, TX and Wayne Stark and Lisa, Houston, TX; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren including Miss Harper Grace who is due to be born in December, and an abundance of loved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Hoech; parents Minnie Stark and Allen Stark; sons Joseph Allen Hoech, Charles Hoech Jr. and Michael Shannon Hoech.
A visitation will be held for Johnnie on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with interment to immediately follow.
