John Leslie Wilson, “Bubba” passed away on May 23 ,2025 in Highlands, Texas at the age of 50 years old. He was born to John Wilson Sr and Loretta Jo Dodson on June 12, 1974, in Houston, TX.
Bubba worked for over 15 years at Brother In Laws Bar B Q in Cloverleaf, Tx and he was retired when he passed. His hobbies included spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and singing karaoke. He enjoyed going to the deer lease with his best friend Doug.
Bubba loved cooking for his community and was loved by many. His children are Brittany and Dustin Segura, John Wilson III and Amber Ford, Gabby and James Brewer, Christin and Autumn Nash. His grand children were Madelyn, Avery, Sophie, Zayne, Greyson, and Caitlyn. His siblings included Angie and Calvin Nelson, Dawn Baker and Jason Roberson, Joy Wilson and Richard Goodman, and Wanda Bannon. Bubba had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Loretta and Louis Mercer, grandparents Eugene and Wanda Dodson. Aunt Debbie and Uncle Leon Pond, Uncle Gabriel Dobos.
