Sunset: July 25, 2014 He grew up in Clinton Park and joined Clinton Park U.M. Church at an early age. He went to Phyliss Wheatley and graduated in 1965. He married his high school sweet heart May 28, 1965. To this union two sons and one daughter were born, Gerald, Patrick, and Reba. John W. and Patricia celebrated 49 years together. He worked at Hugh Tools for a while, but decided to work as a Longshoreman and stayed there for 44 years. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Patricia, two sons, Gerald and Patrick, and one daughter Reba Dade Offong (Obio). Sisters Viola Robinson, Detres Dade and brothers Robert Dade (Jackie) and Rev. Charles Dade (Sherry), two sister-in-laws Karen, Phyliss, one brother -in-law Larry Baidy, god sister Deborah Evans, aunt Nelda Johnson, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, Krystal Nicholson (OSN) and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Rev. Robert Dade & Leona, and brother James Dade.
