Jimmy was a wonderful friend and mentor to me during my years with Sheldon ISD. He hired me for my first full time teaching assignment at Parkway Elementary. When I became a principal nine years later it was a privilege to work with him and the other administrators. As I eventually took on the role of Superintendent he was always supportive and eager to issue words of encouragement even though he had already retired. His love for Sheldon ISD was evident in the way he always supported the community.
They say the greatest tribute for a person's life is to say the world was better because of their influence and I know that is certainly true of Jimmy's influence.
Special love and thanks to the family for sharing their wonderful dad with others. Hope they find comfort in knowing that he was loved by many.
Rest in peace my friend,
