Jimmy Curtis “JC” Pafford, age 76, passed away on April 15, 2023, in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1946, to Charles Curtis Pafford and Edith Lucille Richards Pafford in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Jimmy married Patricia Pafford in 1987. He worked for over 35 years for International Trucks of Houston and retired in 2008.
Jimmy had a strong belief in Jesus Christ and loved to worship the Lord. He loved to listen to gospel and country music and playing his guitar. He was a fan of the Houston Astros and the Texans. He also enjoyed collecting miniature classic cars and trains. Jimmy would relax by bird watching and drinking a cold beer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Pafford, the mother of his children, Sandra Pafford, his father, Charles Pafford, his mother, Edith Richards Pafford, his granddaughter, Gracie Rene Pafford, his stepmother Betsie Pafford, his brother, Darrell Pafford, and his great-grandparents, Bryant and Martha.
Jimmy is survived by his loving children, Cindy Ann Scrivner and her husband Eddy of Spring, Texas, Susan Rene Pafford and her husband, Jeremy Booker of Dickenson, Texas, Mark Curtis Pafford and his wife, Cindy of Sugarland, Texas, and Daniel Glen Pafford, of Dayton, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Shane Derek, Haley, Jenny, Dylan, and Ethan; 3 great-grandchildren, Brayley, Alec, and Brayden. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Pafford Reddman, of Rio Verde, Arizona, his brothers, Charles Ray Pafford, Charles Curtis Pafford both of Dayton, Texas and other loving relatives and friends.
