Jesse Noble Ford
1934 – 2022
Jesse Noble Ford, 88, of San Jose, California, passed away in Atascocita, Texas on November 24, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1934 to Gladys Hailey Ford and Lewis Ford in Somerton, Arizona. He was the first grandchild of both families.
He married Sara Ann Mayfield in May of 1956 in Piedmont, California. They raised their family of three daughters in Berkeley and San Jose, California.
Jesse proudly served his country during the Korean War by joining The United States Air Force. He worked as a subcontract administrator in the aerospace and semiconductor industries for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company and Food Machinery Corporation (FMC) in Northern California. He graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Always a sports enthusiast, Jesse was a fan of many Bay Area teams, whether routing for 49ers football, Golden State Warriors basketball or baseball with the San Francisco Giants. He played golf for many years and in his retirement years, reconnected with his love of airplanes. Joining a club of flying enthusiasts, Jesse enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled model planes. He was a member of The Bayside Flyers Club in Fremont, California.
Jesse is survived by daughters, Kamille Jessica, of Humble, Texas and Rebekkah, of Oakland, California. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly and wife, Sara.
He is also survived by his sister, Lois Ford Young of Altadena, California along with many great nieces and nephews, and cousins on both sides of his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a veterans organization of your choice. Tributes and remembrances may be shared via the memorial site of San Jacinto Funeral Home.
